International Filter Mfg. is a 28-year-old, small; woman owned business, located in Litchfield, Illinois. IFM is primarily a manufacturer of heavy duty air filters for on and off road equipment including farm equipment, mining equipment, dust collection systems, compressors, industrial machines, warehousing equipment, diesel trucks, transit buses, locomotives, and many other types of heavy machinery.
In addition to commercial and industrial customers, IFM sells manufactured parts to the U. S. Department of Defense. During Desert Storm, IFM received a commendation for the supply of heavy-duty air filters for use on cargo trucks. IFM sells approximately four thousand (4,000) filters per month to the Department of Defense for use on the HUM-V jeep.
To compliment the IFM Brand manufactured product line, IFM also supplies the Donaldson, Luber-Finer, Champion (automotive filters), Wix, and A.C. Delco brands of oil, water, fuel and hydraulic heavy-duty filters.
IFM also supplies many brands of industrial and specialty filters, from special hydraulics & ultra filters to depth filters.
Also, over the years, IFM has developed significant expertise in the supply and installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning filters (HVAC). IFM has excellent relationships with the nation's major manufacturers of HVAC filters. IFM supplies the American Air Filter (AAF), Koch, Filtration Masters, Purolator, Midwest Air, Flanders and Farr brands of HVAC products. Through these relationships, IFM has supplied a tremendous volume of HVAC filtration products to utility companies, paper companies and many commercial and industrial companies.
In addition to supplying product, IFM provides installation services for HVAC products. Our largest installation service contract to date is with the Great Lakes Naval Base in Waukegan, Illinois. This contract requires IFM to purchase and install over 60,000 filters per year in many different types of facilities and HVAC units, located on the Naval Base.
IFM is also capable of completing air filtration studies to develop recommendations for upgrading or retrofitting air-handling equipment to meet indoor air quality standards.
